Budget Information
The Board of Education Election and Budget Vote will be conducted by mail-in absentee ballot only this year on Tuesday, June 9. All qualified voters of the Amityville Union Free School District will be sent an absentee ballot with a postage-paid return envelope and instructions for completing the same. To be counted, all completed absentee ballots must be received in the Office of the District Clerk no later than 5 p.m. on June 9.
ABSENTEE BALLOTS
This year, all qualified voters who are currently registered will
receive an absentee ballot. All voting will be done by absentee ballots.
Due to Executive Order, no in person voting will take place.
The District Clerk has a copy of the list of all people who were issued
an absentee ballot for the election on June 9, 2020. If you would like
to view this list, please email the District Clerk at ckim@amityvilleufsd.org.
NOTICE REGARDING RETURNING ABSENTEE BALLOTS - The
District will include a postage paid envelope with the absentee ballot
that can be used to return the ballot. In addition, on June 9, 2020 from
7:00am to 5:00pm a locked ballot box will be available outside of the
administration building at 150 Park Ave, Amityville, NY 11701 for
residents to hand deliver the absentee ballot. The ballot box will only
be available on June 9, 2020. All ballots must be received by the
District Clerk on June 9, 2020 at 5pm.
