Dear Amityville Families,

As we embark on the 2024-2025 school year, I extend a heartfelt welcome to each of you. This year, our theme is Building Bridges and Breaking Barriers. It symbolizes our commitment to fostering connections, overcoming obstacles, and ensuring that every student, educator, and family member is a vital part of our school community.

Last year presented us with challenges that tested our resilience, but we stood firm, and now we are rebounding to recover. We have learned, grown, and now move forward stronger, and with a renewed sense of purpose.

Our focus is on breaking down the barriers that have historically stood in the way of student success, whether those barriers are academic, social, or emotional. We are dedicated to building bridges between the school, families, and the wider community because it is only together that we can create an environment where our students can thrive.

As we step into this new school year, we look forward to working hand in hand with you, supporting each other, and continuing to make progress. Let’s embrace the challenges ahead with optimism and determination, knowing that this year will be a year of great success and recovery.
