Karen Gross, Transition Coordinator
Phone: (631) 565-6192

Transitioning from high school to post-secondary life should be an exciting journey for every student.  However, like many things, it can seem overwhelming at times.  That is why the goal at Amityville UFSD it to make this process as smooth and seamless as possible for every student receiving services through the Special Education Department. This is a self directed process based on a student's strengths, preferences and interests. Through collaboration, Amityville UFSD strives to work with students, families and community agencies to ensure that each and every student achieves their post-secondary goal related to living, learning, and earning upon exiting our schools.

Please contact your child's Transition Coordinator Karen Gross at (631) 565-6192 or by email to discuss your child's future.
