About the Staff

Ashley Borja

Ms. Borja began her guidance counselor position at Amityville Memorial High School in June of 2018. She is the ELL guidance counselor for grades 9-12. She received her bachelor’s degree from SUNY Old Westbury and her master’s degree from Long Island University at Post. In her spare time she enjoys traveling and spending time with family and friends. Ms. Borja is passionate about helping students and families and is inspired by them daily.

Karen Gross

Mrs. Gross joined the Amityville School District in 2015. She received her Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Albany, Master’s Degrees and Advanced Certifications from Hofstra University and Queens College, and Administrative Degree from Stony Brook University. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, running and spending time outdoors.

Jackie Noon

Mrs. Noon joined the Amityville School district in 2006. She received her Bachelor’s Degree from St. Joseph’s College, her Master’s Degree from Long Island University and her Administrative degree from Stony Brook University. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her husband and children, traveling, reading and baking. Her favorite part about being a counselor is that every day is a new beginning and her students always make her laugh and smile.
