Students at Park Avenue Memorial Elementary School in Amityville are learning about the importance of dental hygiene.  

As part of Park Avenue’s celebration of Dental Hygiene Month, Dr. Justyna Balicka of Amityville Orthodontics recently visited students to share tips about dental health. Students learned about losing teeth, the importance of brushing, and when to see an orthodontist. The students were able to ask questions to with Dr. Balicka and Dental Assistant Jesie Veliz.
