Red and pink colors fill the halls at Northeast Elementary School

On Feb. 11, pre-K and kindergarten students at Northeast Elementary School in Amityville filled the building with joy during a schoolwide Valentine’s Day celebration.
Students and teachers joined in the festivities by wearing red and pink to spread love and positivity throughout the school. The colorful display created a cheerful atmosphere that highlighted the importance of kindness and community. As part of the daylong celebration, students also crafted bright and creative paper hearts. The handmade decorations showcased their artistic talents while reinforcing themes of friendship, compassion and togetherness.
The celebration provided an opportunity for Amityville’s youngest learners to express creativity and share in a meaningful tradition that promotes joy and connection within the school community.
