What is ParentSquare?

Amityville Union Free School District utilizes the ParentSquare and StudentSquare platforms for school communication. These communication tools keep parents, guardians and students informed and encourage greater engagement and connection with your child's school. It provides a safe way for district administrators, school principals, teachers, staff, parents and students to send and receive school information primarily via email, text and app notifications. ParentSquare automatically generates an account for each parent, using their preferred email address and phone number. We encourage parents to access their accounts so they can download the mobile app and update their preferences on when and how they are notified.

      Here’s what you can do with ParentSquare:

  • Receive messages from the school via email, text or app notification
  • Choose to receive information in real time or all at once at 6pm daily
  • Communicate in your preferred language
  • Stay up to date on news and events
  • Comment on school postings to engage in your school community
  • Send and recieve messages with teachers and staff 
  • View calendar items and photos from your school
  • Sign up for parent-teacher conferences and volunteer opportunities

Your school will send you an invitation using your email address or phone number on file. Or, you can download the app below or go to the ParentSquare sign-in page to register. Please contact your student’s school or the IT Department at (631) 565-6042 with any questions.

Forgot your password

If you forget your password, navigate to the ParentSquare login page and click “Forgot Password?”. You will be prompted to enter your email or phone number associated with your account. Once submitted, you will receive an email containing a link to reset. 

Need Assistance?

If you get an error stating that your phone number and/or email address are not recognized, please contact the main office of your child’s school to verify your contact information is up to date in our student mangement system. Please see the links above for additional ParentSquare guidance or contact our IT Department at (631) 565-6042.
