Park Avenue Memorial Elementary School is kicking off Bullying Prevention Month with special lessons focused on kindness, friendship and inclusion during recess.

Students learned what it means to be a true friend and how to use the school’s Buddy Bench as a way to make new connections and help ensure that no one feels left out on the playground. Throughout October, students will continue participating in interactive, schoolwide activities designed to promote awareness and reinforce the importance of treating others with kindness and respect.
