The 2025-2026 school year is underway in Amityville

On Sept. 3, students, faculty and staff members, and district administrators in the Amityville School District were excited to kick off the 2025-2026 school year.
There were plenty of familiar faces returning and new ones joining the Amityville school community who were ready to recommit, reconnect and reimagine. Many of the students and teachers kicked off the new year by participating in a variety of team building activities.
Additionally, Superintendent of Schools Dr. Gina Talbert and Mary Stephens, the district’s assistant superintendent for curriculum and instruction, visited schools throughout the district to greet teachers and students.
The Amityville School District looks forward to a successful year ahead.
