Amityville Memorial High School artists honored in regional art shows

The Amityville School District is proud to announce that four Amityville Memorial High School art students will represent Amityville in the Suffolk County Art Leaders Association’s All-County Art Exhibition and Senior Scholarship Show this year.
Students who will exhibit their work in the High School All-County portion of the show include junior Justin Cruz (mixed media, “The Love of J + N”), senior Guadalupe Hernandez Granados (mixed media, “Eye of the Tiger”), and senior Nasir Grant (charcoal, “Focus”). Senior Elidi Laquidara will enter her artwork (acrylic, “Morning Walks) within the Senior Scholarship portion of the SCALA exhibition.
The reception for the show will take place from 1-3:30 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 7 at the Old Town Hall in Babylon (47 W. Main Street, Babylon). Congratulations to these students and their art teacher Jennifer Dibble on this fine accomplishment!
