For the Amityville School District’s 2026 Spring Art Showcase, the art teachers of our district have created a beautiful virtual presentation which showcases the work of our students.

Students in grades K-2 at Northwest Elementary School in Amityville showcased their musical and artistic talents during the school’s annual Spring Concert and Art Show, held from May 13-14. 

Pre-kindergartners at Northeast Elementary School in Amityville celebrated the special women in their lives during the school’s annual Mother’s Day Tea on May 8. 

On April 30, Amityville Memorial High School held a DEAR (Drop Everything and Read) Day during ninth period to promote a schoolwide culture of reading.

On May 1, Amityville Memorial High School hosted its annual College Decision Day in the school’s cafeteria, bringing together students and staff to celebrate the Class of 2026 and their future plans. 

Dressed to the nines in exquisite dresses and sharp tuxedos, Northeast Elementary School’s youngest learners and their teachers in Amityville stepped into the spotlight on April 30.

Northeast Elementary School in Amityville recently welcomed the Pushcart Players for a special performance of their bilingual production, “Cuentos del Árbol.”  

Twenty students from Amityville Memorial High School recently had the incredible opportunity to attend the Long Island Latino Teachers Association Women’s Conference at Stony Brook University.
